Sample lesson
Sample lesson: three different balances. Wallet ledger, gateway settlement and provider float are not the same money.
A customer wallet balance is a ledger entry. Money collected sits with your gateway until it settles to you. The provider float is cash you loaded so the provider will sell the service. If you treat those three as one number, you will misread the business. This lesson does not estimate your profit.
What to prepare
- A blank page split into licence, hosting, domain, gateway and provider float.
- One real or sample receipt, so you can find the reference.
