Software
Nova is the application your customer and your team use. It shows services, records a wallet ledger and sends a request to the provider account you connected. A licence fee pays for that software and the scope in your quotation.
The VTU provider
The provider sells you the airtime, data or bill payment. You fund that account. When a customer buys, the provider debits your float and completes the service if it can. Provider fees and outages belong to that relationship.
Confirm compatibility with your chosen provider before opening or funding an account for your platform.
The payment gateway
The gateway collects money from your customer into a merchant account you own. Settlement times and fees are in the gateway’s terms. A wallet credit inside Nova is a ledger entry about that collection. It is not the same as cash in the provider account.
Why the split matters
If the software vendor, the provider and the gateway are treated as one company, you will not know who to call when money and airtime disagree. Your quotation should name which of the three you are buying from Billsverse. The answer is the software, plus any training or setup the quote lists.
